Terms of Service
The rules that govern your use of TagIn.
1. About these Terms
TagIn ("TagIn", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Kayease Global Solutions LLP, India. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and us. They apply whenever you use the TagIn mobile app, this website, or any other TagIn service (together, "TagIn").
Two other documents are part of these Terms: our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and why, and our Community Guidelines, which explain how to behave on TagIn and at TagIn events.
By creating an account, or by using TagIn as a guest, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use TagIn.
2. Who can use TagIn
- You must be 18 or older. We ask for your date of birth before you can join or host an event, chat, or post. We refuse anyone under 18, and an account without a date of birth can only browse.
- Giving a false date of birth, name or gender is a breach of these Terms.
- One person, one account. No shared accounts, bots, scripts or automated sign-ups.
- You can't use TagIn if we have removed you before, or if the law where you live doesn't allow you to.
- You can browse the Home feed and event pages as a guest ("Skip for now") without an account. Everything else needs one.
3. Your account
- You sign up with a mobile number that you own. We check it with a one-time code sent by SMS.
- You protect your account with a 4-digit MPIN. You can also turn on fingerprint or face unlock, which is checked by your phone, not by us.
- At sign-up we show you a recovery code once. Keep it somewhere safe. It's the only way to move your account to a new number if you lose your phone.
- Keep your MPIN and recovery code secret. You're responsible for what happens on your account. You can see and sign out of the phones you use TagIn on at Settings → Account & security → Active devices.
- Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has got into your account.
- Don't pretend to be another person or organisation, and don't sell, rent or hand over your account.
4. What TagIn is (and isn't)
TagIn helps people discover, host and join real-world meetups. It also lets you post to the Explore feed, chat, form squads, follow people and earn points.
- Events are created and run by users, not by us. We don't organise, supervise, insure or attend events, and we don't provide venues or transport.
- TagIn doesn't handle money. There are no payments, tickets or fees inside the app. If a host asks participants to share a cost, that is purely between them. We are not part of it and can't refund anyone.
- We may add, change or remove features at any time. Some features, such as GIFs, may not always be available.
5. Hosting an event
If you host an event, you agree that:
- Your event details are true and complete. That includes the title, description, date, time, length, map pin, and who can join. The pin is exact and is shown to everyone who can see the event, so choose a suitable public place.
- You use age limits and "Open to" (Anyone, Men, Women, Mixed group) only for genuine reasons, such as a women-only meetup for comfort. You never use them to harass or unfairly exclude people.
- You decide who joins. You can accept or decline requests, invite people, use Close entry, remove people, and add co-hosts. When a seat opens, the first person on the waitlist moves in automatically. Requests and the waitlist close when the event goes live.
- You follow local laws and venue rules, and you get any permission the venue or the law needs.
- You cancel in good time if plans change. You mark people as no-shows only if they really didn't come.
- Any money you collect from participants is your responsibility, and you are honest about it up front.
6. Joining an event
- When you ask to join, the host may accept or decline you, or you may be put on the waitlist. You can't be in two events that overlap in time.
- Show up if you've said you're coming. If you can't, withdraw so someone else can take your seat.
- Check-in opens 1 hour before the start, or when the host goes live. To check in you must be within about 300 m of the event's pin.
- After an event you can rate the other participants. Your profile shows a summary of your ratings, and a show-up rate once you have finished at least 3 events.
- If you are removed from an event, you can only come back if the host invites you again.
7. Meeting people in person: your safety
You meet other people at your own risk.
- We do not run criminal or background checks on anyone. A Verified badge only means one of our moderators reviewed a selfie the person sent us. It doesn't promise who someone is or how they will behave.
- Meet in public places, tell a friend where you're going, and leave whenever you feel uncomfortable.
- Use the Safety Center (Settings → Safety & emergency → Safety Center). It holds the "Feeling unsafe?" SOS button, location sharing and safety tips. The SOS button opens your SMS app with a message for your emergency contact. You still have to press send, and it does not contact the police. In an emergency, call 112 first.
- Report anyone who makes you feel unsafe (see the Community Guidelines).
8. Your content
"Content" means anything you add to TagIn: your profile, photos, videos, events, posts, comments, messages, voice notes, ratings and reports.
- You keep ownership of your content.
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and share your content, only to run, protect and improve TagIn. This includes showing an event's public details on a web page when someone shares the event's link. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep under the Privacy Policy or the law.
- You promise that you have the right to post your content and that it breaks no law and no one else's rights, including privacy and copyright.
- We may remove or hide content, or limit who can see it, if we believe it breaks these Terms, the Community Guidelines or the law.
- If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you.
9. Points, levels and badges
- You earn points for things like joining and hosting events, gaining followers and earning badges. Points unlock levels.
- You can spend points to feature a public event on its city's Home carousel.
- Points have no cash value. You can't buy, sell, transfer or exchange them for money.
- We may change how points work, and remove points earned by cheating, such as fake accounts or fake events. Points end when your account is deleted.
10. Things you must not do
You agree not to:
- break the law, or use TagIn to plan or carry out anything illegal;
- harass, threaten, stalk, bully or dox anyone;
- post sexual content involving minors (we report it to the authorities), sexually explicit content, hate speech, or graphic violence;
- create fake accounts, fake events or fake reviews, or pretend to be someone else;
- spam people, run scams, or ask other users for money, loans or personal financial details;
- share someone's phone number, location, photos or messages outside TagIn without their permission;
- scrape, copy or collect data or content from TagIn, by hand or with tools;
- try to get around blocks, bans, age limits, "Open to" limits, or rate limits;
- access, test or interfere with our systems or other users' accounts, or upload malware;
- use TagIn to advertise or sell things without our written permission. Hosts may say in the event description that an event is run by a business.
11. Moderation, suspension and appeals
- We review reports, and we may review content, including chat messages, to keep TagIn safe. The Privacy Policy explains how.
- If you break these Terms or the Community Guidelines, we may warn you, remove content, lock a chat, or suspend your account, with or without notice.
- While you are suspended, you are signed out on every device and your hosted events are cancelled. A suspension lasts until our team lifts it.
- You can appeal from the suspension screen. You get one appeal per suspension, and the decision on your appeal is final.
- For serious or repeated breaches, we may remove you from TagIn permanently.
12. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my account (at the bottom of Settings). You'll need your MPIN.
- Deletion happens straight away and can't be undone. There is no grace period.
- Events you are hosting are cancelled.
- The Privacy Policy explains what we erase and what we keep.
13. Other companies' services
Some parts of TagIn use services run by other companies. Their terms apply to that part of your use:
- Maps use Google Maps. By using them you agree to the Google Maps / Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- GIFs and stickers come from GIPHY and follow the GIPHY Terms of Service.
- Voice search uses your phone's speech-to-text service from Google or Apple.
We aren't responsible for those services.
14. Our rights
TagIn, its name, logo, design and software belong to Kayease Global Solutions LLP or its licensors. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, change or resell it, or build a competing product from it. TagIn includes open-source software, listed in the app at Settings → About & legal → Open-source licenses.
15. Disclaimers
TagIn is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that TagIn will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. We also make no promises about any user, host, event, venue or piece of content. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety when you use TagIn or attend an event.
16. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage that comes from meeting or dealing with other users, from events, or from content posted by others;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data; and
- our total liability to you for any claim about TagIn is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Because TagIn is free, this is usually zero.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
17. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your events, your behaviour or your breach of these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs, to the extent the law allows.
18. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to sort it out.
19. Grievance Officer
Under India's Information Technology Rules, 2021, you can raise a complaint about content or our service with our Grievance Officer:
Grievance Officer, TagIn

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using TagIn after that, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
